after a freaking two years since its first demo, the subs is finally here- almost 30 minutes long OVA i'm totally touched with the ending, it has been awhile i feel like this since i watched 'Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu' and 'Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora' in short series category- yes, this is a doujin anime, illustration by POP who works on Moetan... a beautiful animation nevertheless plus sort of a wise way how the story flows, point up how Flower spend her blissful time daily till her last moment u_u amazing and fitting ED song as well... and i'm absolutely recommended this OVA to all people who stumbles upon this humble blog...

I'M SO FUNKEN GHAY OVER HIDEYOSHI!

quite funny and interesting concept thar- well i didnt follow its original story neither light novel nor manga, so i enjoy any kind of perception either it's filler or not... whats more, Mizuki's appearance are very identical with Louise [Zero no Tsukaima] in fact their chest and personality very contradict to each other and i already ghay over Hideyoshi~... character design actually seem typical, however the notion are quite original with a self miniature summon being into a skirmish clash between the class... anyways, we always sees the male lead being dense and thick head but this one a total idiot, fairly exclusive isnt it? generic OP and a funken ghay ED though i dont really hate it :P

i'm not expecting much from this series since there isn’t any major plot involved and i just watch it for the lulz like how i treat Queen's Blade b4, 1st episode doesnt give me any impact because massive ecchi stuff without male lead is pointless for me at least- though girl obsession toward underwear are quite rare to see... for the time being this one still give me enjoyment to watch more, just dont kill the joy later... i must say that Minorin as Nayu works out very well :3

episode 1 left me in despair! it was so funken wrong at any direction, with more than 10 minutes stuffing with unnecessary shit, oh please i'm not watching Vampire Bund made by SHAFT in first place for that crap- hoping for a more exciting kick-off but... well even the 2nd episode still far from manga, it's acceptable, the overhauled plot seem fine for me, just dont watch episode 1, it does not exist!... for animation style, SHAFT-wise nevertheless :3 moderately decent OP and ED, isn’t too bad but not great either...

firstly i thought this one are by Bones since the animation style quite alike but i'm wrong... i still new with Durarara's world, resolve around trendy and unique people and highlighting their viewpoint somehow reminds me 'Vintage Point' movie... i cant say much more than that for the 1st 2 episode but each character get enough time for a short introduction in progress... so far the headless rider quite intriguing me with boobs [?] :P

the most wanted manga to anime adaptation this year is here! episode 1 faithfully with original story though it has a bit satisfactory changing, Kuesu-Liz intro... and it seems like they already skip chapter 4 and more likely they’ll skip another short arc in future... for characters design i dont care much about Himari and Kuesu, they looks great though i still prefer Marta Milan's art, Rinko, i dont give a dam since i dont like her... bgm-wise and obviously likeable typical OP and ED song... Koshimizu Ami as Himari's voice cast surely fitting very well with her classical Japanese speech, Horo-like to make it obvious :3 ... Rinko = Nymph nuff said, for Shizuku... for gawd sake why not Fukuen Misato [Yami]!!?? щ(ﾟДﾟщ)

another fascinating series this winter, as it story progress gives me Higurashi vibes in fact both series come from the same creator, Ryukishi07 plus Peach-Pit who works on the characters design pulls up a new mixed moe plus thriller fragrant and executed well by AIC production... for me, the first episode proven its has potential to be a great series, but in the second episode, my expectation decreased... plot remains same, mediocre though its still early to judges more... OP and ED is wonderful however :3

K-ON! RIP-OFF NO[?]

The pace is... bedtime-story-like plus i’m not good to deal with this kind of anime honestly... well yes, the characters design are very familiar no matter what, i think it’s already become a fad because before this Seiken no Blacksmith- but this one looks more like a rip-off of K-ON! Yui - not good playing guitar to begin with / Kanata - suck blowing trumpet... i wont say about the rest, see it yourself... however with a beautiful setting plus an interesting concept, i’ll struggles for another few episodes plus this is Juri Aikawa debut as Kanata, will she be another Aki Toyosaki? :3

To Love-Ru: Chapter 162.5 [After Story]

a storm without wind! that's how this chapter approached- eventhough its quite short, scratch that! a full color plus full of eyecandy is enough for me, but DO WANT MOAR!!!

i kinda forgot what anime i've watch back then... after do some homework, most of them is action kind, Regios, Shikabane, Yoichi... nevertheless, Kurokami pwnd more, the advancing from street battle to godlike clash (Utawa anyone?) plus i cant discard the lulz-ness of Minami-ke :3


Best Spring 2009 Anime: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Honorable Mentions: Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- / Saki

the most overrating season of 2009 i'd say, full of awesome anime and K-ON! is one of them, well it's KyoAni that why... for me K-ON! was moe and fun but i think Saki is much better... Basquash come with unique and lulz concept along with nice song (Macross Frontier nuff said), Sengoku Basara's awesome starter but decline later on... also Hayate no Gotoku!!, Tears to Tiara, Senjou no Valkyria and many more but too bad the overhauled FMA blow the other series away and at least Phantom deserve some credit here :3


Best Summer 2009 Anime: Bakemonogatari
Honorable Mentions: Needless / Spice and Wolf II

for summer... a fucked up version of Umineko truly a huge letdown, Princess Lover! good starting point but the rest are mediocre and worsen... still have some fun series to watch like Taishou, Juden-chan and Yokuwakaru-... despite being the only summer series has yet to end, Bakemonogatari deserve this title... Horo sequel didnt appealing much since i'm bad at business and Needless fucked up ending ruined it all!


Best Fall 2009 Anime: Darker than Black -Gemini of the Falling Star-
Honorable Mentions: Sora no Otoshimono / Toaru Kagaku no Railgun

a closing curtain of 2009 also harem season in this year... Darker than Black back with Hei claiming Suou in his possession [j/k]... the conclusion of Asura Cryin' was nice but the studio who work on it doesnt really care about how fugly the animation is... harem-fest as Seitokai, Nyan Koi!, 11eyes and Kampfer... not to forget the lulz of Otoshimono, its manga are awesome for real while anime is not bad either as a mix up version for intermission inb4 2nd season [FUCK YEAH ASTRAEA]... i'm not into shoujo much so put Todoke aside... Railgun and Blacksmith, both are at the same level but i'd pick Mikoto over Lisa :P

K-ON! based on KyoAni factor, Saki based on Anime Saimoe Tournament, Bakemonogatari based on Hitagi, Umineko based on visual novel awesomeness but failed hard, and Kimi no Todoke recently based on Sadako and shoujo adaptation factor like how i saw in Ouran b4... for underrated i cant tell much how underrated it is but Phantom and Letter Bee deserve some attention :3

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu - Endless Eight

owh please KyoAni! dont lowered yourself with the same level of Xebex (and DEEN recently) who already screwed up 2 of my favorite manga! Endless Eight is a nice arc to begin with but what the point to repeated it all over again for 8 times! they better not fuck up with 'Disappearance' Movie!
