This is the prequel of My-Otome, which predates the events before the My-Otome Series. In this series, it focuses upon the origins of Lena Sayers, the mother of Arika Yumemiya and former bearer of Lofty Crimson Jade / Blue Sky Sapphire GEM, and Sifr Fran, the biological mother of Nina Wáng and the former queen of Windbloom Kingdom, as well as the origins of Schwartz, Aswad, and the Garderobe Academy and its Five Columns. The kidnapping of Sifr and the powerful revelation of Lena's GEM will soon fatefully determine the outcome of the future for themselves and the others around them.

an OVA that contain 3 episode where the 3rd one is released 2 days ago and hold the conclusion of Mai-Otome prequel... this sequence is nicely done, plot and animation... in addition, i like it more than Mai-Otome TV series but still cant compare with manga indeed... what i'm looking forward is the development between Rena and Shiro, obviously it's confirm and give birth to Arika, i just cant hold it when Shiro called Bruce 'father' [lol]...
other than that, the action Rena vs M-9 and Rena vs 4 of 5 column was top-notch, she is uber strong indeed and didnt need a master to materialize... despite it still end with a few unanswered question, a bunch of hint were given that Mai-HiME and Mai-Otome are related especially the mark at Rena's chest and the power she got from it :3
btw, further more Sunrise's project about superpower gurls remain unknown and i hope it wouldn't turn out like Idolm@aster though...
